LawnWire is in private beta with lawn pros running real routes. Recurring invoicing fires when you log a visit. Customers pay by card. You stop digging through Venmo, Zelle, and a notebook trying to figure out who's paid this month. Join the waitlist — we let people in as we're ready.

Every lawn care business hits the same three problems — usually all at once, somewhere between 30 and 80 customers. None of them are about the work. All of them are about visibility into the money. Full pillar guide here →
You ran 60 properties this week. Some paid by card, some Venmo'd, some Zelle'd, two are checks in your truck console. End of the month, the bank balance is $1,800 short and you can't tell why. Half the time, half of it just becomes $0.
QuickBooks costs $38-$275/mo and was designed for inventory-heavy retail. You're paying for product catalogs and SKUs you'll never use, and the parts you actually need — recurring invoicing, visit-based billing — are bolted on as afterthoughts.
Worked fine at 15 customers. Breaks at 40. Gone completely at 80. You're not tracking your business anymore — you're doing data entry for it. Every week you copy-paste the same row pattern.
LawnWire is operations software for lawn care businesses doing 30-1,000 customers and 1-3 crews. Pro tier ($99/mo flat) includes everything you actually use day-to-day:
Mow Tuesday → invoice fires Tuesday night. No "I'll send invoices this weekend" turning into Wednesday. The customer gets a clean, branded invoice with a Pay Now button before you've left their driveway.
Customer saves a card at signup. They get a Pay Now link with every invoice and an auto-receipt the moment the payment clears. No more chasing Venmo, Zelle, or checks in the truck console.
One screen. Every overdue invoice, sorted by days late. You go from "Sunday night dread" to "5-minute Monday review." Send a personal text on Day 7 — recovers most overdue invoices on its own.
7/14/30-day reminder sequence sends on its own through the customer's preferred channel (email, SMS, or both). Pause the sequence on any invoice with one click when you want to handle it personally.
Works on any phone, no install. Log a visit from the driveway. Owner sees the activity instantly on desktop. No native app to download, no App Store gatekeeping.
Today's stops sequenced by actual drive time. Drag-and-drop rescheduling when it rains. On the post-GA roadmap — Pro+ tier when it ships.
Most homeowners would gladly pay by card and cover a small convenience fee just to know they're current. Plenty of them are stuck Venmo-ing you because their lawn guy hasn't given them a better option.
LawnWire is that better option. From the customer's side:
Card processing at standard Stripe rates (2.9% + $0.30) with no LawnWire markup. Small platform convenience fee ($0.50/payment) that you can absorb or pass along.
We've written deep comparisons against every major lawn care tool with verified 2026 pricing. No "we're better at everything" fluff — the honest tradeoffs and the actual savings math.
Jobber Core is $49/mo + $29 per user. Connect $139, Grow $199-$399. We include the same features at $99 flat with no per-user pricing.
See the full comparison →LawnPro locks features behind a $249/mo Plus tier. We're $99 flat at GA with the recurring-route feature set lawn pros actually use day-to-day — and free during invite-only beta.
See the full comparison →Yardbook free is a legitimate starter. When you hit 30+ customers, the 1% transaction fee, or the feature ceiling, here's where to go.

If you cancel QuickBooks and replace it with a service-business-friendly accounting tool (Wave, Xero, or FreshBooks), we'll give you 3 months of LawnWire Pro free (a $297 value) while you make the switch. Willing to jump on a 15-minute call to tell us how it went? Make that 6 months free (a $594 value).
Available during LawnWire beta. Email a screenshot of your QBO cancellation or last paid QBO invoice to hello@lawnwire.com to claim. Read the QuickBooks alternatives guide first if you're still deciding. Direct accounting sync is on the post-GA roadmap.
I'm Al. I'm a software engineer, not a lawn care guy.
My lawn guy spends his time mowing my yard. That gives me my time back — to be with my family, write software, whatever I want. When I realized I could spend some of my software time returning the favor, I did.
I was tired of digging through Venmo trying to remember if I'd paid him. Plenty of homeowners would gladly pay by card and cover a small convenience fee just to know we're square. So I built LawnWire.
Three flat tiers planned at GA: Core $29/mo (recurring invoicing, customer tracking, service catalog), Pro $99/mo (adds aged receivables, automated late-payment reminders, customer-preferred-channel notifications, branded invoices, custom roles), Pro+ $199/mo (Pro+ roadmap features as they ship — two-way SMS, route optimization, accounting syncs, multi-crew). No per-user pricing on any tier — your whole team is included. Free during invite-only beta.
Built for recurring lawn routes, not generic field service. Flat $99/mo Pro at GA with no per-user pricing — while Jobber stacks per-user fees on top of $139–$399 tiers and LawnPro gates features behind a $249/mo Plus tier. vs Jobber · vs LawnPro · vs Yardbook
Yes. Every modern lawn care tool exports customers as CSV. LawnWire imports CSV directly with field mapping. Most operators are fully migrated within an hour, with customer notes and history intact.
All three are on the Pro+ post-GA roadmap. When two-way SMS ships, the planned model is fair-use messaging (3,000 units/mo on Pro, 5,000 on Pro+) at a price point well below LawnPro's $249/mo and Jobber's $139+ tiers. We'll ship route optimization, QuickBooks Online sync, and Wave/Xero/FreshBooks sync as roadmap items roll out.
Card payments through Stripe at standard rates (2.9% + $0.30) with no LawnWire markup. Customers tap the Pay Now link on any invoice and pay through Stripe Checkout. They can save a card on file for future invoices and get an auto-receipt the moment a payment clears. Small platform convenience fee ($0.50/payment, currently $0 during beta) that you can absorb or pass along.
Migrate from QuickBooks to Wave, Xero, or FreshBooks and we'll give you 3 months of LawnWire Pro free ($297 value), or 6 months free ($594 value) if you'll do a 15-minute call about how it went. Email a screenshot of your QBO cancellation or last paid QBO invoice to hello@lawnwire.com to claim.
Free during LawnWire beta. No credit card required. Import your customers from Jobber, LawnPro, Yardbook, or a spreadsheet in under an hour.
